My Story

Me and Dream Girl
meandrach.jpg

In my youth I lived in a small suburb in Columbus, Ohio. Life was sweet and simple, I had the the perfect life. My three best friends lived within ten houses of mine. We spent our days playing video games, street hockey, football, basket ball, exploring the woods and building tree houses by the creek. The perfect childhood right?

The Best Rock In The World

When I turned 11 everything began to change. My best friend and brother lived across the street, We had been friends since we were four years old. His family knew me and treated me as family as did mine to him......

Then his parents divorced. He was split between them, both mentally and phisically. Most of the time he was with his mom across town, so we rarely saw each other. Then the same happend to my mother and step father. We moved across town, the opposite side in which my friends lived. My Dad was divorced from my Mom when I was about two, but I got spoiled by him every other weekend. Life moved on, but a few months later my mother did the unthinkable...

She had met a guy who lived in Kansas City, Missouri. Soon after the school year ended, we moved. All I remember is constant spinning, light headedness. I was ripped and pried away from my friends and family. Everything and everyone I knew and loved was now gone. If my best friend had not accompanied me to my new home 1000 miles away from anyone or thing familiar, I could not have made it. I hated it. I had no friends. No-one but my mom...we continued on through the school year, I made a few good friends, but it wasn't the same kind of friendship. We were more of a group of friends who stuck together only in school, to amuse each other.

One year later... I came home to my mom crying with her best friend. Her courtship with her boyfriend had gone sour, partly because I had no intention whatsoever to open up or befriend him. He began deciding that my life should change and tried to change me into a totally new person, one like his two kids. Perfect grades, never argued, were eager to help with yardwork. Little did he know that they did it to suck up, and advised me to do the same...no thanks.

Because of this, my mom and I would now move back to Ohio, and my home town. In spite of my moms tears, I was as happy as can be, but of course did not show it. I was thrilled to go back to my home and bath in friends, family, and for the first time in a long time, fun. It was a dream come true...well, almost.

We moved in with my grand parents who lived down the main street from our old home. I couldn't wait to go back to my old school. You know its funny how life works, you never know how much life hates you until you come ironically close to what you want most of all. According to zoning and district laws, I had to attend the school of the closest suburb to ours, not my home town. We were one block from the district line that would have allowed me to attend my former facility. Needless to say I was heart broken. but at least I got to live with my much adored grandparents, and occasionally see other family and friends. Mostly my dad and my best friend, who I'd kept in close cantact with. The school was ghetto, I was an outcast, few friends, who I admit were losers I would not have hung out with in other circumstances, but they were alright guys.

This one lasted for another year, then It started all over again. Mom and her boyfriend were all hunky-dory again, which ment one thing...back to Missouri. This time I wen't knowing the school system there was better and that a had a few scattered friends. And I also wen't with a popularity plan.

For the first year I was back I did some stupid and impulsive stunts. This would make my name known, I could change my reputation later. At least people started knowing I exist. I began to get more involved in-plays, activities, and most importantly dating. I worked my way up the chain slowely.

By the second year I became very active in theater and even became a drummer in a pretty talented band.It was started by one of my friends from when I first moved to Missouri (or misery as I called it). I eventually filled out and dating only got better, I dated a senior, a couple freshmen, one or two sophmores.

Then I finally caught the eye of a well saught after girl who I had my eye one for about two years. She was my dream girl. Blonde skinny really hott model, and fun!(always a perk). She was far out of my league, or so I thought. She had only one boyfriend in her life, who had gotten around even more then I did, but it didn't work out. My ex-girlfriend at the time had a big controversy over me giving my secret dream-girl a hug(which wasn't strange because I gave everyone hugs), which is why she and I split. This inadvertantly caused me to call the girl and tell her the funny story of my ex having a fit over our hug.

We began to talk and talk every chance we got. Up to 4 or 5 hours somtimes. We talked of the stupidest thing, somtimes talking of how stupid of thing we would talk about! Eventually we started dating, I spoiled her rotten every chance I got. I was accepted by her family and my mom ADORED her, having always wanted a girl.

As for at home, my brothers(who have no dating luck or experience) and I are very friendly. I have taken my younger step brother under my wing, and turned him into a little hellian. I've given them both dating advice when needed, and always offer to help them in ANY way I can.

I now have brought my grades up and get along fine with my step father. My hobbies have expanded and so has my knowledge. Also I now call Missouri my home, but am still an Ohioan at heart. I have many friends and am still dating my dream girl, who amazes me more and more every day.
